Her restaurant career began at a diner on Queens Blvd and her most recent position was Assistant General Manager with Jean Georges. After 10 years Ashley decided to take a chance, switch career fields and now she is a Community Manager with WeWork overseeing the operations at their Astoria location.
Evelyn Orange is a Customer Service Specialist with 20+ years of training and experience who has worked with institutions including Metropolitan College of New York, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Public Storage, Macy’s Department store, NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, Restoration Temple Ministries Inc. and now WeWork. Evelyn began as a Building Cleaning Associate in February 2017 and was promoted to Community Service Associate in September. To date, aside from her required duties, she has become a leader and mentor for her team while facilitating life skills workshops.
Charlene Melindo is an illustrator who works out of her creative dojo (at WeWork) making pop culture greeting cards, custom cards and invitations for her startup company; Instant Smiles. It was teaching for four years as a Spanish teacher that led her to embark on an old passion she’s had since she was little, and decided to further develop her already established skills to start her very own business.
